Youtube New Features: YouTube is officially 20 years old! It’s been two decades since the very first video, a short one called “Me at the zoo” with co-founder Jawed Karim checking out some elephants, was uploaded on April 23rd. To mark this birthday, YouTube is dropping some new features, showing us interesting stats, revealing some secret tools, and adding some fun extras.

Youtube New Features And Turns 20
So, YouTube wrote a blog post spilling the beans on the new features they’re dropping for their 20th birthday. First up, if you’re a YouTube Premium subscriber, you can now watch videos at a crazy fast 4x speed! This is perfect for speeding through those long videos or quickly finding what you’re looking for. And get this – you’re not just stuck with 2x anymore; you can now fine-tune it with speeds like 2.05x, 2.5x, 3x, and that super speedy 4x.

Cool news for music lovers with YouTube Premium or YouTube Music! They’ve just launched something called personalized radio stations through “Ask Music.” Basically, you can now tell YouTube what kind of music you’re in the mood for using your voice, and it’ll create a radio station just for you using some smart AI magic. So, if you’re feeling happy or want something chill, just ask, and you’ll get a custom radio station. It’s in English for now in a few places, but they’re planning to add more languages and countries soon.

YouTube TV subscribers are getting a big upgrade to how they watch! They’re making it easier to get around, videos should play better, and the picture quality is getting a boost. You’ll also find it simpler to check out comments, channel info, and your subscriptions. What’s really exciting is that YouTube TV will soon let you create your own custom multi-views – meaning you can watch several things at the same time on one screen. This will start with some non-sports content, but they plan to expand what you can watch together in the coming months.
