Marvel Studios has unveiled the first teaser trailer for Thunderbolts, the latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, while the film features several familiar faces, the trailer makes it clear that this is not your typical Avengers ensemble. Led by Bucky Barves/Winter Soldier and Yelena Belova, Black Widow’s sister, the Thunderbolts team exudes a distinctly villainous aura that sets them apart from Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
This Highly anticipated teaser, previously show cased to select fans, is now available for all Marvel enthusiastics to enjoy. The Thunderbolts trailer opens with Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) visiting her father, Red Guardian (David Harbour). After cleaning up his messy home, Yelena questions Alexai about his sense of purpose. Both characters seem to be searching for meaning in life a difficult task for former contract killers.
We then witness the main cast interacting with each other as Yelena confronts John Walker (Wyatt Russell), Ghost (Hannah John Kamen) and Task Master (Olga Kurylenko).
It’s not until they encounter Lewis Pullman’s character, Bob that the situation escalates dramatically.
Bucky's New Look In Thunderbolts
Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes, aka the winter soldier, is the MCU’s most experienced Thunderbolts, having appeared in Multiple Films and series. Though his exact role in this new team remains a mystery, the first Thunderbolts trailer hints at his return to a familiar appearance from his past, suggesting a potential resurgence of his iconic Winter Soldier Persone.
