Khushi Mali, renowned for her role in Sajha Sindoor, is stepping into the iconic role of Sonu Bhide. For those unfamiliar with the series, Sonu is a central character, the daughter of the stern yet affectionate teacher Atmaram Bhide and the intelligent, caring Madhavi Bhide. As a member of the mischievous Tappu Sena, Sonu frequently serves as the voice of reason, bringing her unique charm and balance to the show’s vibrant dynamics.
In an interview, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah producer Asit Kumarr Modi discussed the new casting, stating, “Sonu is a cornerstone of the Tapu Sena, symbolizing leadership and warmth.
