Paresh Rawal Hera Pheri 3 Exit Reason
Recently, Paresh Rawal, known for his iconic role as Baburao Ganpatrao Apte in the Hera Pheri franchise, announced he was no longer part of the much-anticipated Hera Pheri 3. But Sunil Shetty Was Shocked By The News.
Shetty then stressed just how important Paresh Rawal is to the Hera Pheri franchise. Speaking to ANI, he firmly stated, “The movie absolutely cannot happen without Paresh Rawal.” He went on to say that there’s a small chance it could work without him or even Akshay Kumar, but it’s “100% impossible” without Paresh Rawal. Shyam, and Akshay’s character, Raju, just doesn’t work unless they have Paresh Rawal’s character, Baburao, there to mess with them. In his words, “Raju and Shyam, if they’re not hammered by Babu here, it doesn’t work.
Akshay Kumar Files Case Against Paresh Rawal
It seems Paresh Rawal’s sudden choice to leave Hera Pheri 3 led to Akshay Kumar suing him. The director Priyadarshan, who’s making another movie called Bhoot Bangla with both Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal, was pretty confused about Paresh leaving. He said Paresh never told him he was quitting. Priyadarshan also mentioned that before starting Hera Pheri 3, Akshay had specifically asked him to check with both Paresh and Suniel Shetty to make sure they were in, and at that time, both of them agreed.
Priyadarshan, the director, made it clear that he himself wasn’t losing anything from Paresh Rawal suddenly leaving the movie. He wasn’t financially invested in that specific part of the film’s production. However, Priyadarshan believes that Akshay Kumar’s situation is different. He suggested that the main reason Akshay took legal action against Paresh Rawal was because Akshay had personally put his own money into the film. So, when Paresh left, it likely created a financial problem or loss for Akshay, leading to the lawsuit.

No Issues Between Paresh Rawal and Priyadarshan, He Says
Paresh Rawal wanted to clear up any misunderstandings about why he left Hera Pheri 3. He firmly stated that he has no problems or disagreements with director Priyadarshan, and he believes they never could have any.
Rawal explained that he has a deep affection for Priyadarshan and respects him immensely as a director. He pointed out that they have worked on many successful films together in the past and plan to continue doing so in the future. He emphasized, “There were no creative differences, nor is there a possibility of having any with him.” This means their ideas for the film were not clashing.
When asked if his decision to leave was because he wanted more money, Paresh Rawal said that wasn’t the case at all. He made it clear that “No amount of money compares to the love and respect of my audience.” He then simply stated his main reason for leaving: “Right now, I just feel that it is a role I don’t want to do, that’s all.”
