The winners of the 97th Oscars 2025 awards will be told to everyone on TV on March 2nd. This will happen during a special show that will be broadcast live from Hollywood. The group that gives out the movie awards had to delay announcing who was nominated twice. This happened because of big fires in Los Angeles.
The movie “Emilia Pérez” got the most nominations, with 13. Then, “The Brutalist” and “Wicked” came next, each with 10 nominations. This means that a movie called “Anuja,” which was supported by Priyanka Chopra, Guneet Monga, and Mindy Kaling, was nominated for an award for the best short movie.
The awards were supposed to be announced on January 17th. But because of the fires, they were delayed and finally announced on January 23rd by two funny people, Rachel Sennott and Bowen Yang. 1 The awards ceremony day itself will be hosted by Conan O’Brien, who also lost his house in the fires, and it will happen on March 2nd at the Dolby Theatre.
