Indiana – Kelsey Mitchell scored 23 points, Caitlin Clark had 19 points, five points rebounds and five assits and the Indiana Fever beat the connecticut Sun 84-80 on Wednesday night to snap on 11 game losing streak in the series. 

The fever are keen to go get the first win of the WNBA season against the sun on wednesday. WNBA stands for “Women’s National Basket League”, it is a professional basketball league featuring the best women’s basketball players in the world.

Clark’s haul included her 86th three pointers of her opening season in the WNBA, helping her to break a rookie record set by Rhyne Howerd at the Atlantic Dream in 2022. Clark is also the first rookie in WNBA history to record a triple double and to reach up career totals of the 400 points, 100 rebounds and 150 assists.

On Wednesday, she made yet more league history by becoming the fastest player to collect 500 points and 250 assists in her career. The fever had lost all three duels against the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference and were ready to get revenge.

The Connecticut sun tried hard to beat the Indiana Fever for the fourth time this season and sweep the series, but the home team put on a good fight and came out victorious of the floor.

For Mitchell, it was her 15th consecutive game with 20 plus points, a franchose record. Her connection with clark continues to grow. Clark has already set multiple other records this season including the WNBA standard for assits in a single game with 19.
