Old-Style Indian Summer Secret: Aam Panna Magic

Old-Style Indian Summer Secret: Aam Panna Magic

Traditional Aam Panna is a refreshing Indian summer drink made from raw mangoes that helps cool down the body naturally and protects against extreme heat.

It helps reduce body heat, prevents dehydration, and gives instant refreshment during hot weather.

Take 3 to 4 medium raw mangoes. These will give the drink its sour taste and natural cooling effect.

Use half a cup of sugar or jaggery. This balances the sour taste of mangoes and improves flavor.

Add fresh mint leaves, black salt, regular salt, and roasted cumin powder. These improve taste and help digestion.

Wash the raw mangoes and put them in a pressure cooker with water. Cook for 3–4 whistles until they become soft.

Let the mangoes cool down completely. Then remove the skin and take out the soft pulp inside.

Put the mango pulp in a blender. Add mint leaves, sugar, salt, and cumin powder. Blend until smooth.

Now you have a thick Aam Panna mixture. You can store this in the fridge for a few days.

Take 2–3 spoons of the concentrate in a glass. Add cold water and ice cubes.
